A MUST have book for all little learners
This story line has not only created an opportunity for me to read and bond with my niece but also teaches incredible life lessons in a kid friendly manner. SEL is an every growing area of education and the Big Head Bob book series is the perfect way to give your students and family members a memorable learning experience. Having been born with a birth defect, I wish that I could have read these books as a child to give me the confidence I needed to just be ME! Thank you David Bradley for this amazing book series and I cannot wait to see where the series goes next!
Incredible Coloring book and message!
We love Big Head Bobs story and this coloring book allows my niece and nephew to express their emotions through coloring! Great art and all the kids love it!! Highly recommend.
Fun and creative children’s book
I got this book for the kid I babysit because it displays such a great message about friendship and embracing our insecurities. I think it’s so important for kids to understand at a young age that their flaws are their strengths and the author delivered that message wonderfully in this book and his first book! I also loved the colorful pictures and really appreciated that the author included questions at the end to help the reader dive deep and reflect on themselves. I loved it and I know the kid I babysit will too!
My students loved Big Head Bob!
I was introduced to this book last year when my kindergarten class got to have a virtual visit from David Bradley. He read his book and had discussions along the way. It was great to see just how much conversations Big Head Bob sparked amongst them. Great book for all ages! Goes well with teaching and talking about Social Emotional Learning. Sometimes we can have a fixed mindset about our differences and “flaws”, this book helps to introduce a growth mindset.
Easy and fun read, kids will live the story and graphics
I purchased this book for my nephew and it’s one of his favorite books. It’s a fun and easy read with great lessons for children. Besides a fun storyline, there are important lessons about confidence that a child and the adults reading with them should hear and learn. Look at it as a “self help” book for children with a lovable main character, Big Head Bob. I would give it an age range of ten and under, although anyone will appreciate the story.
SO engaging
My 1st grader couldn’t put this down! Page after page of exciting word puzzles, word scrambles and much more! Will keep your kids busy and engaged for hours. Would definitely buy again. Go BHB!
Super cute children’s book!
I just got this book out of a Little Free Library and it is so cute! It’s a children’s book about Big Head Bob and the troubles he has by being different. The font is perfect, large enough for young and visually impaired readers. The artwork is colorful and diverse. It was a problem solving book with hope in how to deal with situations of being different in a positive way. Very awesome book and it is now being placed in my own Little Free Library for someone else to enjoy.
