Course Overview
The unit comprises a 19 page document with two 30 to 45-minute lessons that encourage students to design and create an original character that took a weakness and made it into a strength.- Create an original character by naming, designing, and developing a backstory highlighting a weakness turned into a strength.
- Demonstrate creativity and an understanding of how perspective can transform challenges into opportunities.
- Collaborate in small groups to create a team of characters with unique differences and develop a short story.
- Illustrations will demonstrate how individual strength and teamwork can overcome challenges.
