Sizes, Materials and Brands

Sizes

Special orders for Tall and 3X or larger are possible. Please contact tom@bigheadbob.com.

Ladies sizes are typically a full size smaller than mens / unisex. If you wear a size small mens / unisex then a size medium should work. If you wear a mens / unisex 2XL, you would need a 3XL womens shirt – which we won’t have on hand. In that case, please contact tom@bigheadbob.com.

Materials and Brands

All our shirts are 100% cotton.

Mens / Unisex and Youth are usually Gildan 100% preshrunk heavy weight cotton, and rarely we use Fruit of the Loom (for the Ice Gray color).

Ladies ringspun shirts are 100% cotton and are usually made by Anvil or Bella and Canvas. (Some ladies shirts, such as long sleeve, are *not* ringspun, and that will be noted on the product page.)

We reserve the right to substitute shirts due to supplier availability.

Special Orders and Full Color Designs

Full color shirts and designs with more than two colors are not made in-house. These are produced by a ‘Direct to Garment’ printing process and will come from another address. These orders take longer and can take two weeks or more to arrive. We will forward tracking information to you.

Returns & Exchanges

How do I exchange a shirt?

Unworn / unwashed items may be exchanged for another item. Send your unworn / unwashed items to us at:

Include a note (or, ideally, write on the packing slip) with the following information:

1. Some way to find the order: An order number, buyer’s name or email address.

2. What design, style, gender and sizes. Sizes available:

Mens / Unisex: Small – 2XL
Women’s soft ringspun: Small thru 2XL
Youth: Small – Extra Large

To upgrade: Men’s / Unisex XXL is $3 more, Women’s and Youth are $1 more. (A 2X Womens would cost $4 more than a Large Mens.)

3. The address if it needs to change.

4. Re-Shipping and Restocking Fees: We do NOT charge any fees.

Lastly, if you do not want the original purchaser notified by email, write a “no email” note on the packing slip and we will make sure they do not get any email notifications concerning the exchange.

How do I return a shirt for a refund?

Unworn / unwashed items may be returned for a full refund less shipping within 30 days. The refund will be given through the original method of payment. We cannot send cash refunds. Refunds will go back to the original payment method. Please send unworn / unwashed items to:

Include a note (or, ideally, write on the packing slip and include that) with the following information:

  1. The order number, or the name and email address of the purchaser.
  2. Please list the item(s) you are returning, and write “return for refund.”

IMPORTANT:
– Customer pays return shipping for refunds. We do not refund shipping costs.
– We do not charge a restocking fee.

I got the wrong shirt or my shirt is defective.

If you received the wrong shirt or the shirt we sent you is defective, please contact us at admin@bigheadbob.com with your order number and specifics on what we messed up, and we will take care of it for you. There is never a cost to you for our screw-ups, but of course we never mess up. Ahem. ‘Almost never.’ We will send you a replacement and we will *NOT* need you to send the defective one back.

Do you ship internationally?

Normally we do not. If you have a whopping big international order, contact us at tom@bigheadbob.com and we’ll consider it. We don’t do so usually because it requires us to fill out forms.

Do you ship to APO / FPO addresses?

Yes, we ship to APO and FPO addresses. Since we use the United States Postal Service, customers shipping to APO or FPO addresses should put the United States as their country and we will always and only use domestic shipping.

What shipping methods are available and how much do they cost?

We ship via the United States Postal Service. Our rates are based on flat rates per item.

How do I track my package?

US Post Office mail comes with a tracking number that will be sent to you via email when we ship your order. You can track your order using this number at the usps.com home page.

Design & Modeling

I have a great idea for a shirt! Do you want to buy it?

If you have a good shirt idea, send it to tom@bigheadbob.com, and if we want to make it we will pay you $40 worth of Big Head Bob Merchandise. The more ideas you send in, the better chance that one of yours will be selected. Feel free to include multiple ideas in one email.

IMPORTANT: If you send us an idea that already has been done by another company, we may choose to make such a shirt, but we cannot pay for existing ideas. We surf around and look, too, y’know!

Are you looking for new models?

We are always on the lookout! If we choose to use your photos (you in our shirts) you get to keep the shirt(s) but you need to have a buddy who can take OK photos.

Interested? Send some (fun!) pictures to tom@bigheadbob.com. Include your city and any other info you think we will find helpful. They do not need to be professional shots – but at least one should look good enough to use. (We do need to know you can get OK snapshots!)

Ordering

How can I make a change to my order?

For orders of designs with one or two ink colors, we can probably help…

But we can NOT easily change orders for full color shirts – though we’ll do our best. Designs with three or more colors are printed by a service and once those orders are placed, they very often cannot be changed.

If you want to change your order, please email tom@bigheadbob.com as soon as you can. If your order has not been shipped out yet, we will normally be able to make the change for you.

Please help us locate your order by giving us an order number, the name the order was placed under, the email address used for the order, etc., and then let us know what you would like changed.

Why didn’t I receive a confirmation email?

Some email providers mark our confirmation emails as spam or block them completely. You can check your spam folder to see if the email arrived there. If you are not able to find it there you can email admin@bigheadbob.com and we can confirm that the order was placed.

Do your shirts ever go on backorder?

Not really, no. We print to order, so the only stock we carry is blank shirts! Sometimes we need to get more a particular size / color, but even then it takes us a day or two for that. (Our supplier is local to us.)

Full color and designs with more than two colors are usually made by ‘direct to garment’ printing by a third party. Those shirts will be shipped directly to you by our DTG printer for those orders, and they will take longer to get.

Typically you will get a shirt within a week, but DTG shirts can take TWO weeks.

What name will appear on my credit card bill?

The name on your credit card bill will be Big Head Bob, or Ample Gear. The name of our company is Ample Gear and Big Head Bob is our brand. (We make shirts to order, too, via Ample Gear.)
